This may be the most ridiculous thing I've ever done... it's for work. For some reason, the powers that be have put me on the leadership team for a group of around 150. This is not meant to brag or anything... just to give you an idea of what this is for... So the six of us that sit on this team have decided that simple, email communications are not effective. People don't read them... and they half-heartely listen when we have global telecons. We thought doing podcasts and really modernizing our way of communicating would go a long way... So, I've collaborated with the guy in the office next to me on this ridiculous song. You won't understand the meaning of anything, but hopefully you'll at least be able to feel the humor... suffice to say, I work for a large pharmaceutical company and my group has just taken on all submission work across the globe. The best part is that the guy who does the rap is considered to be extremely conservative and a total tight-ass. There will be a video to accompany the music... it essentially lays out our process from beginning to end. soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=11983105

Feels like it belongs in Office Space somewhere. Love the fact that you worked a bleeped out F-bomb in there.

I did? Is that a good thing? I guess it is if you want people to be directed to your song without having to enter a thread.

"The Road Turns" is lovely, Rick. I still think you need to solve that last line of the chorus, as the awkward flow of it steals a lot of the thunder. But the tune is so strong that it hits me anyway. I'll be surprised if you don't break into the top half.
