Today is a case of you guys seriously needing to run and hide your heads, or you might just end up dead. I'm thinking of you all on the East Coast States and watching the news of the storm's progress. |

So far so good. Just some leaky windows which at first I tackled with red Solo culs and electrical tape... then I manned up, went outside with a ladder and staple gun and fastened some trash bags over the windows.

It was crazy windy and lots of rain... my house held up. A few minor leaks through the windows. I was prepared with a generator, backup sump pump, submersible utility pump... never had to use any of it. In addition to my family being safe, my studio is unscathed.

One tree down on my street, but that only took out power on the houses across from us. The tree truck is working on the downed tree right now, so hopefully they will be able to restore power for my neighbors today. Lots of rain; flooding on the river but we are up on a hill.
So far so good.

In Rhode Island my parents seem to have lost power.
